In the initial stage of exploration communities will be protected against operations and the incursion of foreign labour.

Exploration being uncertain in outcome requires the expenditure on peripheral matters such as communities be consistent with exploration success. SacOil will however where possible improve the lives and local communities with the provision of small irrigation programmes, supply of books and assistance with medical needs.

Should exploration be successful and operations develop then these programmes will be consistent with the evolution of oil production in the area and may extend to schools, farms and general community development.
