Surrounding communities will often have little in terms of human comforts and SacOil is determined to protect what communities already have and where possible improve the living conditions. This will extend to protecting water courses, minimising pollution and noise abatement programmes.

At the outset of any exploration operations base line conditions will be established and changes thereafter monitored. These programmes will be directed to water and air quality programme primarily with adverse trends being identified, sourced and remedied.

Bush land, vegetation and trees will be protected during any road construction or camp creation where damage is incurred new appropriate vegetation will be planted.

Drilling progammes often require dedicated water pump systems. These systems will be used to assist communities to install and direct water irrigation systems for crop creation.

The aforementioned is at the exploration level and should development and production operations ensue then sophisticated environmental programmes will put in place commensurate with the scale of the operation.
